Ag Plot for FFA/Ag Program

The North Butler Community Schools Agriculture Education program will be planting a test plot this spring.

Through the generous donations of seed corn by Chuck Becker of Channel Seeds, chemicals and fertilizer through Landus Cooperative of Allison, and time and equipment by Bixby Farms this is possible.

The test plot will be located on the school grounds in Allison, at the location of the old football practice field. This plot will be between 1 and 2 acres, and will provide our Ag and science students with educational opportunities throughout the school year.

Thank you to Ag teacher Jym Hansen, and those who have worked to make this happen, including the wonderful sponsors of the program who have donated either their time and or materials to make this possible!

Track Meet

North Butler Community Schools would like to thank everyone who volunteered time to help with the boys track meet last Friday.

The success of this meet was only possible through your help, and the hard work of the athletic complex committee in raising the funds for the track/facility project.

We received many compliments on our facilities from those in attendance, and Mr. Thompson did a wonderful job running an efficient and organized meet.

Thank you to all!
