Board Notes 12-12-16

This evening the North Butler Community Schools Board of Education took the following actions:

1. Discussed the 17-18 Calendar draft-Is being built on the same frame as the current year. Will be taken to District Leadership team before it is brought to board for approval.
2. Discussed the January Board meeting-Tentatively scheduled on Wednesday January 18th, 2017, at 5:30 PM at the HS/MS media center due to scheduling conflicts.
3. Approved Promise Iowa Resolution.
4. Approved bids on old sheds.
5. Approved snow removal bid for DME.
6. Approved SBRC application for On-Time enrollment
7. Approved SBRC application for Drop-out/At-risk for 17-18.
8. Tabled Job Descriptions until the board has had further time to review them.
9. Approved River Hills 28-E amendment.
10. Approved speaker for Oct. 9, 2017 to be paid from Teacher Quality funds.
11. Approved personnel recommendations.
